Having spent the whole of my business life travelling extensively as a steel broker, I had to find an interest which was going to not only keep me busy in retirement but give me a sense of satisfaction and this is what art is doing for me.
I was brought up in a family which was very involved in art and two of my uncles were art masters and graduated from the Glasgow School of Art. Perhaps I was overexposed as I simply had no interest at that time and it is only in my twilight years that I am discovering just what I had missed.
